隆中牡丹园，素有“阳春三月三，隆中看牡丹”的美称。在明代的《襄阳府志》中有明确记载，隆中牡丹以花大色艳而久享盛名，数量近万株。隆中牡丹花径最大可达20公分，花瓣五十余片，珍贵品种有“襄阳大红”，“卧龙出山”、“垂头兰”等243个品种。

Longzhong Peony Garden has the reputation of “March 3 in the spring, appreciate peonies in Longzhong”. In “Prefecture Topography of Xiangyang" of Ming Dynasty, it clearly recorded that the peonies in Longzhong are well-known for their big flowers and bright colors, with nearly ten thousand of flowers. The maximum diameter of the peonies in Longzhong can be 20cm, with over 50 petals. There are 243 special species, such as “Xiangyang Bright Red”, "Outstanding Talent Starts Career”, “Vanda Alpina”, etc.
